Once upon a time, our friends at OBO set out to develop the world's best sports face protector. After years of extensive research and development, and about a bazillion dollars later, faceOff was born. Fracture was brought on board to help with branding, and develop a website that would serve as the main vehicle of publicity. The site's focus was simple: SCIENCE! with a little sprinkling of fun on the side.

For example, amongst the technical breakdowns and slow-mo videos of heads getting smashed in, we smuggled in a few hidden unlockable "achievements" to reward those who are committed to probing every nook and cranny of the site. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find them all, so I'm not sure what the prize is; I'm sure it's decent. The lovely people at FWA (Favourite Website Awards) deemed the site worthy of a prestigious Site of the Day Award.
