LUKE JACOMB WEBSITE
Three phrases that really draw attention to the NZ accent: 1) A calf on a fast raft in Haast Pass. 2) The bar staff laughed at the disastrous blast. 3) An unsurpassed master glass artist. Luke Jacomb happens to be the third one. And when he needed a portfolio site to showcase his awesome glass works, he called the Fracture hotline. The idea was to create a minimal site, one where the work does the talking ("Hi, I'm a glass paddle").
SUBTLETY!!! Yeah, keeping things real understated was the key. How? Glad you asked, take a seat while we saddle up the high horse. We kept the colour palette low key, black & red like a lumberjack's shirt; the typography is clean and sophisticated like a freshly laundered monocle; and for bonus elegance we stealthily worked in some references to glass and light. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna dismount my high horse and give it a sugar cube.
